01What Claude Code SEO Is and How It Works
Claude Code SEO is a method of using Claude Code Desktop to automate the creation, indexing, and interlinking of SEO articles for multiple websites. In this episode, Julian Goldie shows how he uses Claude Code to take websites from zero clicks to hundreds per day.
Claude Code works by following a saved workflow. You tell it the keyword, give it videos to embed, and provide a case study. Then it writes unique articles for each of your sites, creates internal links, and even submits the URLs to an indexing tool.
Julian explains that this automation is why he no longer needs an SEO agency.
02Main Features of Claude Code for SEO
Claude Code Desktop offers several features that make SEO automation possible. Julian highlights the key ones he uses every day.
- Workflow automation – You can save a skill or workflow that remembers your sites and writing style.
- Multiple article creation – In one session, Claude Code writes articles for several websites, each with a different angle and style.
- Automatic interlinking – The tool adds internal links to previous articles, which helps with crawling and ranking.
- Indexing integration – After writing, it uses Omega Indexer to submit pages to Google.
- Video embedding – You can paste YouTube embed codes, and Claude Code inserts them into the articles.
- Beautiful formatting – The output includes tables, callouts, author names, read time, and CTAs.
Julian loves the desktop UI because it is easier to manage than the CLI. The local folder keeps context, so you don't have to re-explain your workflow every time.
03How to Set Up Claude Code SEO Workflow
Setting up this system is simple, but you need to do a few things first. Julian walks through the process in the episode.
- Install Claude Code Desktop on your laptop and connect it to a local folder where you keep your website files.
- Create a skill or workflow that defines your SEO process, including how you want articles written and what callouts to add.
- Add your websites to the workflow so Claude Code knows which domains to publish to.
- Set up Google Search Console for each site and add Netlify tokens to track traffic.
- Save your Omega Indexer credentials in the workflow so pages get indexed automatically.
- Write a prompt that includes the target keyword, example videos, and a unique case study.
Once you save this, you can reuse it in new sessions. Julian notes that you can even start multiple sessions to create articles at the same time.
04How to Use Claude Code SEO in Practice
Julian demonstrates the process step by step. First, he picks a trending keyword like 'Cloud Code AI SEO' because it is new and not many people have written about it.
Then he copies a case study from his own results—like a website that went from zero to 782 clicks per day—and pastes it into the prompt. He also grabs YouTube embed codes from his channel and adds them to the article.
After that, he tells Claude Code to interlink the new article with previous ones. He writes: 'add a new method to your SEO skill where each time you do this, you naturally interlink articles together.'
He presses Command + Enter, and Claude Code starts writing. It produces a table with the site, angle, and public URL for each article. Then it submits those URLs to Omega Indexer for indexing.
Julian shows an example article that is well formatted, has a CTA funneling traffic to his offers, and includes a video. He notes that Claude Code even adds the author name and read time.
05Results Shown in the Episode
The episode includes several real examples of websites that grew with this method.
- One website went from zero clicks to a peak of 782 clicks per day.
- Another site went from 2 clicks per day in January to 30 clicks per day.
- A third site jumped from 11 clicks per day to 49.
- A fourth site went from zero clicks in July to 346 clicks per day.
Julian also tested the strategy with the release of Cloud Opus 4.7. He created five unique articles on five brand-new websites and got them indexed on Google the same day.
He compares Claude's writing quality to human writers in his agency, saying the AI is 'by far superior' and that it is 'not even debatable.'
06Tips, Limits, and Mistakes to Avoid
Julian shares several tips to get the most out of this system. First, always provide unique case study information to create information gain, which Google rewards.
Second, choose keywords where the first page is weak—sites with low domain ratings like 2.4 out of 100. Those are easy to outrank.
Third, use Omega Indexer for new sites because getting indexed is the hardest part.
One limit is that Claude Code is not perfect. Julian spots a typo in an article where 'Kimmy' was spelled with a 'K-I-M-M-Y' instead of 'K-I-M-I'. He says it is not a big deal, but you should still review content.
Also, he notes that you should set up an author page on every website with more information about you. He admits he has not done that yet.
07Who This Is For and Why It Matters
This method is for anyone who wants to grow organic traffic without hiring an SEO agency. Julian sells an AI community and uses this strategy to get customers for free from Google and AI search engines.
If you understand SEO and use AI to automate the process, it becomes a competitive advantage.
Julian says that with systems like this, you do not need an SEO agency because Claude Code handles content, linking, indexing, and formatting. The whole process works end to end.
If you want help, Julian mentions free resources and a one-to-one SEO strategy session through his agency.
